To visualise Avalokiteśvara , Kannon in Japanese.

The bodhisattva, the spiritual beings in the Pure Land, which is the separated spirit of Amida Buddha.

It’s huge and of course this is bigger than the earth.  It’s a huge size and the board is golden purple colour and there’s a halo in the neck and the size of this halo is 100 ,000 times , 100,000 kilometres and in this circle light halo, there are  500 Buddhas and each Buddha is surrounding by 500 bodhisattvas and  also the infinite numbers of the divas. In the light of the body of Avalokiteśvara, the state of the entire universe is manifested  and there is a beautiful, beautiful treasure with  a crown and in the crown there’s one Buddha and this Buddha’s height  is 250 ,000 km and also the face of Avalokiteśvara is the golden purplish colour of illumination and the Byakugo which is a third eye is seven treasures colour and 84,000 lights are  illuminating. 

 If one wishes to visualise and see Avalokiteśvara, visualise all these forms and also this scene,  this landscape image.  If one will visualise this image then will not get any disasters,  and purify the karma of the past lives and infinite numbers of the life and death dust will be cleaned.

“……...And it says that if you listen to the sound of the water from the streams of Pure Land  it will illuminate your heart. Every moment your heart shines with your enlightenment  and your joy and happiness increases every moment. You will hear this, feel this  during the Samadhi, the meditative state and even when you wake up from the  Samadhi state and be in daily life…….

This visualisation,  meditative image practice training will not only make your life shine but also make  your life easier because you are no longer stuck in the materials and it is going to be  easier to visualise things and transform to the phenomena, whatever  you imagine for the future. That is why it is written in the Amitayus Sutra that  everything will be in your hand, it depends on your heart.  

May your heart and life shine..”

“I would like to broadcast this Dharma talk with the wish that you and people in the world live life really meaningfully and energetically.

Well, for several times I have been talking and explaining about the sutra called “Meditation Sutra” which is the visualisation meditation sutra. This is to visualise the Pure Land and Buddha. We have come up to the ninth step.

The most important part of these meditation steps are the eighth and also this one, the ninth. …

……When you achieve this state, you will see all Buddhas. Because you will see all Buddhas it is called Nembutsu Samadhi. 

Whoever may happen to visualise this, then what happens is that by visualising Amida Buddha, then you also start seeing the heart of Amida Buddha…..”

”…… Well in this Dharma talk I want to talk  about the visualisation of the Treasure Tree of Pure Land.  

Why a tree? Well, first there was the visualisation of the Sun, then water  visualisation, next is the earth or ground so it is natural that the tree should  follow. It is also natural to visualise a tree because the tree is important as a  symbol of Shakyamuni Buddha’s enlightenment, the Bodhi tree. Actually I don’t  think it’s just because of that because as I said before it is natural to choose the tree because trees have a spiritual meaning.  

Before the practitioners of Buddhism in India started to visualise Buddha they  used to visualise a tree, the symbol of the enlightenment of Shakyamuni.  Actually in those days it was prohibited to make a statue of Buddha, to create  Buddha in any form. Why was there this rule? Actually I don’t know the reason  but eventually someone broke the taboo. Who broke the taboo? It was the  Greek Buddhists……..”

” To wish the happiness of others at a subconscious level, if your subconsciousness transforms wishing the happiness of others, it means that you will start thinking that you are to do something or to remind yourself. It’s just natural, spontaneous. 

 It is not about  words or consciousness, it is just to be as such as your existence. So as your heart is beating all the time, as you breathe continuously all the time, your wish is all the time happening and radiating out from the subconsciousness to the world.

Then what happens is that you start receiving the energy of the Great Love of the Great Spirit of the Universe.  I think the Great Spirit of the Universe, the aspect of Great Love will come from the Center of the Universe, Pure Land and the Infinite Joyful World to Your invisible body, which  is called the Buddha Nature Body. But interestingly, there’s also another aspect of the Great Spirit. The Great Spirit has four aspects. One is simply saying that one is an emptiness aspect, the only the principle of the Universe.

Another aspect is the Center of the Universe and also Pure Land and the Infinite World. What I said before about the emptiness aspect, it means that the Great Spirit of the Universe, the Amida Buddha, is the Universe itself. “

“…I talked about the beauty of the image of the Buddha in the Sutra in the previous Dharma talk.

However, as I said we have an image of the Buddha of the Buddhis world, a kind of black and white, old and not so colorful image. But in the sutra, how the Buddhas or the world of the Pure Land and infinite joy spirit world are described are so colorful….

…All of the sutras are symbols. It’s a symbol that the dirty, the worst spirit of people could practice. I mean, what Shakyamuni Buddha is going to teach her is the 15 steps of meditation, visualization meditation….”
