“…..we need two eyes to see the phenomena (everything that happens in your life). To see the two aspects. Well, actually deep inside it is oneness because, well. I think that once I explained the story of Shakyamuni Buddha: Shariputra, his most wise disciple, decided he would ask Shakyamuni Buddha a question: why is the world still dirty even though such a great saint – Shakyamuni Buddha – manifested in this world?
And then Shakyamuni Buddha answered, oh this is because everything is a reflection of your heart, and then in that next moment Shakyamuni Buddha showed him the true world with his supernatural power, and in that moment Shariputra experienced that everything he see is Pure Land, everything is so beautiful.
Well, every moment the phenomena changes, nothing is permanent. And anything you experience in life is sometimes positive and sometimes negative. But even though, all negative things – something that seems like happened to you – instead of being trapped by the phenomenon, just imagine the next moment, the great future. The Pure Land can be manifested in the next moment. Every moment, if you’re sending this energy to see the world as Pure Land, to see the whole positiveness of the next moment of the future, this will be all the seed of what would happen in your future…..”
